PRF Injectables or Microneedling

How Does It Work?

PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is a three-step procedure. The first step involves having your blood drawn from your arm. Second, your blood is then put into a centrifuge that separates your blood into layers. The top layer is platelet-rich fibrins and the second layer is red blood cells. The PRF is taken off the top and put into a syringe and injected into areas of concern. Platelet-rich fibrin is rich in platelets, fibrins and interleukins. These cells are the healers of the skin and produce new skin more rapidly and effectively than platelets alone. In order to get the plasma into the skin, we can perform full-face microneedling or injectables into areas such as under eyes, cheeks or even the scalp for hair restoration.

After this procedure, our patients report improved skin tone and under eye appearance, or hair growth. Best results are seen after a series of treatments.

Anyone in search of better skin and a younger look. It is important that you are not a smoker to get good results. If you do not tolerate having your blood drawn or everyone has trouble drawing your blood, you may need to consider other options. You must drink at least 60oz of water prior to procedure and cover your face with sunscreen and a hat post-procedure.
