How Does It Work?
Bellafill is an FDA-approved injectable dermal filler that can be used to reverse volume loss, smooth deep lines, or treat indented acne scars. Bellafill is formulated with bovine collagen, collagen-building particles, and microspheres of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). These microspheres remain in place until the collagen gel has been absorbed to stimulate your body’s own collagen production and helps to plump the skin for five years or more. After the procedure, you will see some immediate effect from the bovine collagen. Your final result is six months post-procedure.

Plumping and smoothing effects of Bellafill can last up to five years or more. Downtime is very minimal compared to invasive, ablative laser treatments. Bellafill is the only filler approved to treat acne scars and is safe for all skin types and tones.
Am I a Good Candidate?
Bellafill is not recommended for those who are susceptible to keloid or hypertrophic scarring or patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Those who are considering Bellafill must have an allergy test done in-office a month prior to their treatment.
