What is Biorevitalization?
Biorevitalization, or “Bio” as we sometimes call it, has been a staff and patient favorite anti-aging treatment for years. Let me explain why it’s our favorite and how it works.
This patented treatment developed by an Italian dermatologist, combines the revolutionary effects of hydrogen peroxide, kojic acid and a high concentration of trichloroacetic (TCA) acid. This unique formula provides immediate lifting and tightening of the skin, along with lasting improvements to the look and feel of the skin without peeling, invasive measures, or downtime. Plus, it can be done any time of the year!
“Bio” is a topical biostimulator that stimulates collagen production without needles. Essentially the TCA acid is wrapped in a hydrogen peroxide bubble that transports the acid deeper into the skin. With this patented technique the hydrogen peroxide moderates the TCA’s exfoliating effects, preventing damage to the outer skin layer and stimulating the skin’s healing response from within, “working from the inside, out.” This treatment was originally created for treating children’s scars, focusing on making this treatment be as painless as possible while creating as much new skin as possible.
Your recommended treatment plan for general skin improvement, tightening, reverse photoaging, or improving skin tone is one session per week for four weeks. For maintenance we recommend you see your esthetician monthly for other facial treatments while keeping a Biorevitalization treatment package of four in your skin care plan once every 6 months.
